FAQs

How many lessons do I need and how often should I take lessons?

Since everyone has different needs and expectations, the number of lessons you need depends on a few factors, such as how good you want to become, how often you take lessons and how fast you learn. If you are getting ready for a wedding or a special occasion, it is recommended to start taking lessons at least 4 months before the occasion. Learning to dance is similar to learning a new language. It takes time and a lot of practice before you can carry a full conversation confidently. Many of our students take multiple lessons per week to help them retain information and speed up the learning progress, but a minimum of one lesson per week is recommended.

How much does a one-on-one lesson cost?

The rates for our private lessons range from $105 to $125 per lesson (for 1 or 2 people) depending on the number of lessons you purchase at a time. The more lessons you purchase at a time, the better the discount. Intro lesson is $95 and it is 45 minutes long.  Contact us for more information.

Can we schedule a private lesson for 3 or more people?

Yes. Private lessons for 3 or more people are also available. Please contact us for more information.

What is the cost for a group dance class?

It is $25 per person and tickets can be purchased online. 5-class pass and 10-class pass are also available.

What should I wear for my lesson?

You can wear anything you feel comfortable and confident moving in, whether it's your work clothes or t-shirt and jeans. If you are getting ready for your wedding or other occasions, it's a good idea to practice in shoes that are similar to the ones you will wear at the occasion. Dance shoes are also great for practicing. Snow boots, flip-flops or any rubber soled shoes are not recommended.

How long is a one-on-one lesson?

A regular private lesson is 45 minutes long and the last few minutes of the lesson will be used to review and schedule your next lesson. To help you get the most out of your lesson, 90-minute lessons are also available.

What are your hours?

Our lessons can be scheduled Monday to Friday between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 and 6:00 PM. Private dance parties can be scheduled any day before 10 PM depending on the studio and instructor availability.

What is your cancellation policy for one-on-one lessons?

Any cancellation must be made 48 hours before the scheduled lesson. Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged a $35 fee. Lessons that are missed without notice (No Call, No Show) will be charged the full price of the lesson.

What is your cancellation policy for group classes?

If it is more than 7 days from the date of the class, you can cancel your registration by contacting us and receive a refund for studio credit. If your class is less than 7 days away, you can request a cancellation. During this time frame, cancellation requests are handled at your teacher's discretion. At any time, you can also sell or give away your ticket if you are unable to attend a class.

In the event that a class is canceled, we will issue you a full refund for your ticket.

What is your refund policy?

At studio manager's discretion, refunds can be issued for credit only. There is no cash refund.
