Duet Dance offers both group dance classes and one-on-one ballroom dance lessons designed for anyone interested in ballroom dancing for fun or any special occasions. Dances we teach include Salsa, Swing, Rumba, Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha and Country 2-Step. Both singles and couples are welcome!
Valentine’s “Dirty Dancing” Inspired Dance Class
This Valentine's day, have the time of your life at our "Dirty Dancing" inspired dance class. Bring your darling in and learn how to dance like Johnny and Baby in the movie! Each session includes a 50-minute dance class and open dancing. In a fun and casual setting, you will learn:
Basic salsa dance steps
Basic leading and following
A simplified "Dirty Dancing" routine
This class is designed for beginners. So, don't worry if you have "two-left-feet." What's more? It's BYOB. Feel free to bring wine or beer to help you get in the dancing mood! Remember, nobody puts Baby in the corner.

Szewai (C-Y) is the owner of Duet Dance Studio, a top-rated ballroom dance studio in Chicago, IL. Graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Dance, Szewai is trained in a variety of dance forms including ballet, modern, jazz, ballroom and Latin. When she began ballroom dancing, she felt in love with this dance form instantly. What she loves most about ballroom dancing is its magical connection you create with your partner through movement. And her ultimate goal in teaching dance is to share the joy of dance and help people connect through partner dancing.
